Technical Coordination Committee

This diagram outlines the structure and workflow of the Technical Coordination Committee (TCC) within the NA-CONS project.

TCC

Technical Coordination Committee (TCC)

The primary purpose of this structure is to facilitate effective technical coordination and strategy development across multiple projects and working groups within a larger project framework. The TCC acts as a central hub for technical decision-making, ensuring that all components work together seamlessly and efficiently.

This structured approach helps in maintaining clarity, accountability, and coherence across different technical activities, ultimately contributing to the successful execution of the project.

  • Members: The TCC includes Project Leaders (PL), Working Category Coordinators (WCCs), Group Leaders (GLs), and a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) correspondent.
  • Work Package Leaders (WPLs): These are included by invitation.

The TCC reports to the Project Board and has several key responsibilities:

  • Endorses technical strategy: The TCC reviews and approves the technical strategies proposed by the different WC's
  • Ensures coherent implementation among the relevant Work Packages (WPs): This involves making sure that different work packages are implemented in a coordinated manner to avoid conflicts and overlaps.
  • Feedback to the Project Board: The TCC provides regular updates and feedback to the Project Board, ensuring that the board is informed of progress and any issues that arise.

The TCC serves as the central body where all the information from various groups and projects converge. The role of the TCC is to coordinate and ensure that all technical aspects of the project align with the overall strategy.

Different groups or projects that feed into the Technical Coordination Committee are:

  1. Working Groups (WGs)
  2. Other Projects - TG-CONS, HI-ECN3
  3. PBC Studies
  4. IEFC/EATM/SPS-CSAP
  5. ICEA/ICL

Workflow

  1. Inputs to the TCC: Various groups and projects (WGs, Other Projects, PBC Studies, IEFC/EATM/SPS-CSAP, ICEA/ICL) provide input to the TCC. This input includes data, research findings, technical reports, and any other relevant information.
  2. Coordination and Strategy: The TCC consolidates this information, coordinates efforts among different groups, and develops a cohesive technical strategy.
  3. Reporting and Feedback: The TCC reports to the Project Board, which then endorses the strategy, ensures coherent implementation, and provides feedback. This feedback loop helps in refining the technical approaches and aligning them with the overall project goals.
