Project Team Meetings

Effective project management requires continuous monitoring and feedback to ensure that objectives are met within the stipulated time and budget. The provided diagram illustrates the cyclical process involving the Project Team and the Project Team Meetings (PTM) for monitoring progress and implementing feedback.

Project Team Meetings

Key Components and Flow:

  1. Project Team: This is the core group responsible for executing the project tasks. They gather data and generate progress reports based on their ongoing activities. The results and data collected by the Project Team are then forwarded discussed in the Project Team Meeting (PTM). This stage involves evaluating the current status against the project plan.

  2. PTM (Project Team Meetings):

    • Members: The PTM includes members such as the Project Leader (PL) and Work Coordinators (WCs). This group is tasked with assessing the progress and identifying any deviations from the plan.
    • Evaluation and Discussion: In these meetings, the collected progress monitoring results are reviewed, challenges are discussed, and strategies for improvement are devised.
  3. Feedback / Review: After the progress is evaluated in the PTM, feedback and recommendations are provided back to the Project Team. This feedback is crucial for making necessary adjustments and aligning the team’s efforts with the project goals.
